Whether a puppy is born or a cruciate ligament tear, rabbit cold or herniated disc – 365 days a year at the Lüneburg Animal Clinic everything revolves around the well-being of beloved pets. In "Hautnah: Die Tierklinik" VOX shows the moving everyday life in the clinic from the front row - as authentic and exciting as never before. In addition to the animal emergencies, the veterinarians also have to provide psychological support to the agitated owners. The veterinarian documentary succeeds in providing a close-up insight into the stories of the animal patients and their concerned owners. All emotions, the sadness and the joy are documented by permanently installed cameras in "Hautnah: Die Tierklinik".
