Aesop's Theater

With origins dating back some 2000 years, Aesop’s Fables are some of the oldest and best-known stories in the world. Now they are lovingly brought to life in this beautiful animated series. In this version, Aesop is a friendly wolf who happens to be the leader of a travelling theater group. Aesop writes and directs the plays, which are performed as they travel from town to town. Among the members of his company are a would-be writer fox called Presy, some mischievous pigs and a tough little rabbit called Libbit. At first, they do not always get along that well, since they have to live together in a cramped carriage. However, while spending time working together in the theater performing such tale as The Hare and the Tortoise and The Boy Who Cried Wolf, they get to know and understand each other.
