Tinelli, Jaky and their friends are sixteen, and the nerve center of their discussions now is the Intervallo Cafe ', Nico's uncle's bar. A whole new series with the boys of “Those of the interval”, who are now sixteen, have taken their exams and passed from middle to high school, always attending the Manzoni school. The great news of this series is that the center of the protagonists' lives will no longer be the school environment but a place more open to encounters that will allow for the creation of new dynamics and the introduction of new characters: the Intervallo Café which is located right in front of the their school. The place is owned by the gruff and authoritarian Tony, Nico's uncle. The latter gives him a hand in the afternoon by standing behind the counter, while his friend Tinelli serves at the tables, pushed by his parents to work at the sandwich shop in the hope that he will learn a bit of duty and discipline.
