This fascinating documentary illustrates the relationship between people, the elements that surround them and the collective imagination. He shows us with beautiful images the importance that the sea for the Greeks but also the significance of mountains to them. Mount Olympus, the clouds were supposed to be the homes of the Greek gods, is a good example. What this film shows justifies the title of the documentary series, as Thessaly actually part of these shared areas between mountains and sea, between earth and sky of the ancient gods.
