Other Half of Me

She ran away from an arranged marriage and finds the path she is destined to take. Adara (Asmirandah) is the daughter of Sudiro (Verse), a fish supplier who is stingy and calculating when it comes to money. He forces Adara to marry Dennis (Miller Khan), the son of a wealthy businessman in the village, who can pay Sudiro a handsome dowry for Adara. On the day that Dennis and his family come to Adara’s home to officially ask for her hand in marriage, Adara runs away to Jakarta with the help of her best friend, Reza (Kevin Andrian). There, Adara meets Maya (Michella Putri), a young woman whose father Sandy Pak (Ari Wibowo), turns out to be linked to Adara’s unknown past. She also runs into Rama (Rezky Aditiya), an easy-going young man who is taking care of his three nephews. As Adara becomes close to Rama’s nephews, she discovers that her journey to find her true life has led her to Rama.
