40 teams of amateur robot fighting enthusiasts battle it out over a series of rounds in a huge purpose-built arena aiming to become the Robot Wars Champion. Dara O Briain and Angela Scanlon host the revival of the programme in which radio-controlled robots created by teams of amateur engineers battle it out in an arena. The machines have to make it through an initial group stage, then head-to-head rounds before the heat final
