Piet Bambergen and Rudi Falkenhagen are always a laugh. Bambergen plays the lead role as Dirk in this comedy series, based on the British comedy Duty Free. Dirk is on holiday for the first time in a Spanish seaside resort with his wife Annie. There they stay in a luxury hotel that they cannot afford. Whoever stays there are Linda, an old friend of Dirk, and her husband Bob (Falkenhagen). These snobs are absolute opposites of the folksy Dirk and Annie.
