The Showdown with Scientology

TV 2's new documentary series "The Showdown with Scientology" follows former Scientology member Robert Dam, who is living with the consequences of resigning himself and his family from the organization after 20 years. Since Robert Dam left Scientology in 2003, he has lived a life of fear of surveillance and extortion. "The Showdown with Scientology" is the story of Robert Dam's attempt to put an end to his and his family's past as well as a look into a closed and secretive organization. In the series, a journalist goes undercover and has a personality test done at Scientology in Denmark. We meet former members and staff who talk about their experiences with the organization's crude methods, and then the program's protagonist Robert Dam travels to Scientology's headquarters in the United States to come face to face with the people behind it.
