The Chinese in Nanyang have experienced the double destiny of the entire Chinese millennium and a century. The value of exploring Nanyang's self-understanding of Chinese culture, as well as the introspection and thinking of contemporary Chinese people, is becoming more and more prominent. The film will show the development process of the Chinese in Southeast Asia and the living conditions of each period, sort out the history with an open global perspective, and take care of the present, and strive to create a historical and humanistic documentary that can enlighten the construction of the future development of the Chinese society.
