Rift Valley - The Great Rift
The African Rift Valley is more than 6,000 kilometers long and stretches from the Jordan Valley over the Red Sea, the highlands of Ethiopia and East Africa to Mozambique. Harald Pokieser has teamed up with famous nature filmmakers for his three-part documentary and created an impressive portrait of this region, which was created 35 million years ago when the mighty African plate collided with Europe.
