Since the outbreak of war, Adolf Hitler's designers had been forging secret plans to attack the USA at the express request and order. A long-range bomber was to be built that could have crossed the Atlantic twice without stopping. This development could not be completed. Under increasing pressure, new and fantastic attack scenarios were devised.
