Construction Trades of The Middle Ages
The series explores important construction professions of the Middle Ages using techniques and materials from the 13th century. Craft activities and work techniques related to wood are presented. Forest workers cut down trees and cut the logs into beams. The carpenters then process the wood into scaffolding, tables, roof trusses or running wheels. The basket weaver provides, inter alia. the baskets necessary for the transport of building materials.
