Allied War Crimes - Forgotten atrocities of the Second World War

This film is a harrowing document of human cruelty. It makes it clear that during the Second World War, war crimes were committed by all belligerent sides - and were not the speciality of a single nation. It provides insight into some of the countless war crimes that were also committed on the Allied side. The 1983 documentary is the only contribution that German television ever broadcast on this topic. The basis of the material prepared by the internationally renowned American international law expert and historian Alfred de Zayas is the files of the "Wehrmacht Investigation Office for Violations of International Law" (WUSt.). With these files each of the Allied war crimes could be documented and substantiated.
