Under The Spell Of The Arctic

The Arctic is one of the most wonderful landscapes on our planet. It will probably change irretrievably as a result of climate change. In the first part of the film, Klaus Scherer visits Greenlandic coastal villages, which switch from hunting to fishing between drifting icebergs, and a horticultural pioneer who harvests rhubarb. In Iceland he dives with locals in the ice-cold water through the Silfra Gorge.
