The Last Summer of The GDR

Summer 1989 - months of departure and protest, a new beginning and farewell. The collapse of the GDR regime begins. The people revolt, tens of thousands are fleeing the country. More and more people are joining the mass demonstrations, and the calls for reforms are getting louder. However, nobody still believes in the end of the GDR. Ultimately, the people's strength succeeds in tearing down the wall. A peaceful revolution ends the Cold War era.
