The Kitchen Fight

Six hobby cooks compete against each other in a kind of elimination competition every broadcast week. On Mondays, the candidates cook their favorite dish, on Tuesdays a starter, on Wednesdays a main course, on Thursday in the pre-finals a main course and dessert and on Friday a main course based on the recipe of the prominent chef and a dish of their own choice. At the end of each program, another TV chef decides in a tasting which of the candidates has to be eliminated. Those who remained compete against each other again in the next broadcast. For a while, the weekly winner was allowed to prepare a dish as a prize in the show Lanz cooks alongside some prominent professional chefs, then he was only cooked by the TV chefs on the show. After the Lanz kocht program has been discontinued, the winner will be given a prize to be present on the program Lafer! Lights! Delicious !, Horst Lichter and Johann Lafer cook for him in this.
