A “super car” is an exclusive vehicle that is only produced in limited numbers. This is why super cars are extremely expensive. Mass-produced vehicles cannot compete with them in terms of speed and acceleration. In addition, a super car has to be an eye-catcher, so unusual and interesting that it evokes an emotional reaction. The documentary series “Superautos” deals with extraordinary vehicles such as the Ferrari F40, the McLaren F1, the Porsche Carrera GT, the Lamborghini Miura and the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing.
