Silver Saw

The story revolves around the Dubiňák family of lumberjacks, where the craft has been inherited from father to son for a long time. Stáňa's youngest son is returning from the war, and this will arouse great enthusiasm and, above all, preparations for his return in the extended Dubiňák family. Everyone assumes that he will return to the work of a lumberjack he did before the war. However, his friend offers him a more lucrative place as a waiter in his pub. In addition, his relationship with Věra is not wanted by her father, the gamekeeper Švejda.
