In Kjelle's taste journey, we get to follow a culinary adventure in both Asia & South America. Kjell Bergkvist goes to the sun, the jungle and the white sandy beaches. He unpacks his swimming trunks, language lexicon and sunglasses. But it is the food that sets the goal of the journey. Each episode is built around a special dish, ingredient or cooking style. He visits local food markets, looks for roots in the jungle or takes the boat out to fish. Kjell is curious, humorous and straight just as we are used to seeing him.
