Beyond the Lake

On hearing the news of the sudden death of Valerio, an old childhood friend, Luca Ferri leaves New York, where he has lived for years, to return to the small village of Poggio Sant'Angelo. He suspends the work commitments that await him in Paris and deals with discovering the cause of Valerio's death, probably the victim of building speculations that would have affected his stables which went up in flames. While taking care of a horse injured in the fire, he rediscovers his passion for Barbara and for little Lorenzo, wife and son of his friend, and questions himself. Until the final revolution.
