A lonely schoolgirl, mocked by her peers, strikes a dangerous bargain with an ancient dragon lord who transforms her life at a devastating cost. As her childhood friend Kouichi is chosen by the storm god Susanoo to battle the rising darkness, he is torn between saving humanity and protecting the girl he loves.
