After his marriage has probably all but collapsed, Thomas Stickler (Harald Krassnitzer), son of a winegrower, returns to his Austrian hometown of Rust after a few years abroad, where he wants to try to find himself again. But soon his father dies, so Thomas inherits his vineyards. His sister Andrea (Katharina Stemberger) is horrified because she had expected that the winery would be transferred to her. So she has to arrange herself, which is not easy for her...
