Hachi-One Diver

Sugata Kentaro failed to become a professional Shogi (Japanese Chess) player, and he now makes a living as a gambler instead. He plays Shogi for money, and has an impressive track record. But one day he is beaten by a woman known as "Ukeshi", who has never lost a challenge. The series follows Sugatas struggles to become the best Shogi player.
